How to Draw A Lioness
Step 1
In this first step of this tutorial on how to draw a lioness, we will start by drawing the animal’s head, neck, and first paw. Lions tend to have short snouts, giving their heads a rounded and efficient design. You can draw the outlines of the head, nose, and mouth with a few smooth lines. We also draw the small round ears on the head. Once we have this outline drawn, let’s add some internal details. This includes the inner shapes for the ears, and then there are also some facial texture details and outlines for the nose and eyes. Finally, complete this step by drawing the lioness’ muscular shoulders and large first paw. Then go to step 2!Step 2
For this next step in drawing your lioness, we’ll add a belly to her. This should be a pretty easy step for you! First, draw a curving line that extends backward under the shoulder of the leg you drew in the previous step. Next, we’ll add some detail to the belly to make it look rougher. In this step of our guide on drawing a lioness, we will add quite a few things to the image. In this part, we’re going to finish most of the outline for the lioness, and you can start drawing her back with another curved line. This will extend into a curvy tail, and then there will be a hind leg at the base of the tail that connects to the belly.
